Al Behel

Preaches for the Great Smoky Mountains church of Christ in Pigeon Forge. He owns the Suburban Counseling Center in Knoxville and also practices with the Livingston Medical Clinic. He advises physicians from six counties regarding appropriate psychiatric medication for patients. He gives psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults (ages 2 to 83). He assesses and treats patients with chemical addictions. Al also provides training for in-patient counselors in A & D treatment and provides drug-free training for industry leaders and business executives. He has served as an expert witness in juvenile, domestic, criminal and federal courts. He provides marital, family and individual counseling and speaks about 300 times a year to churches, colleges, universities, businesses and industries. He is a crisis management consultant and has helped to resolve hostage situations. He worked in the World Trade Center Disaster. He and wife, Linda have 7 grandchildren. Al will be speaking Sunday, 4/13at 9:00 & 10:00 am.

Officer Dennis Donaldson

is the father of 2 boys and 1 girl. He and his wife, Keri live in White Bluff and are part of our church family. He is employed by the city of Dickson as a Police officer. Dennis is trained in the D.A.R.E. program and speaks in the Dickson County High School system, and at churches about meth and drug awareness. His work in the community gives him insight to the threats posed by drugs and alcohol.

Jim Frost

has 26 years of counseling experience. Jim works with teenagers, those with addictions to pornography, drugs, and alcohol, and does marriage therapy. For nine years, he has worked with the White Bluff AGAPE Counseling Center. Jim worships at Otter Creek Church of Christ.

Gwen Kerns

is a Licensed Professional Counselor and member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. She has been a Counselor at Dickson County High School for 20 years and has organized small group programs for students with drug & alcohol issues. She serves as a counselor for the Walnut St. Church of Christ in Dickson, TN.

Anita Whitaker

comes to us from Huntsville, AL where she is employed as a Logistics Management Specialist at the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal. She teaches Bible lessons to elementary, high school and college age girls, women's classes and female inmates at the Huntsville Metro jail. A popular speaker for Christian ladies retreats, Anita worships with the Lincoln Church of Christ in Huntsville. She is the author of "Straddling the Fence: The Danger of Compromise."
